Backstory
We Are Your Proactive Home Care Partner
Handyzee was founded from a personal experience during one of the most stressful times in our lives. As new parents during the pandemic, we were sleep-deprived and overwhelmed when our furnace stopped working on the coldest day of winter. We feared for our newborn, as the temperature inside our home rapidly dropped. A local HVAC technician arrived, inspected the furnace, then spent 10 minutes in the attic. Suddenly, the furnace started working. Relieved, we asked what had fixed it, but they weren’t sure — maybe because some dust was knocked off, maybe because they wiped the ignitor with Windex. Despite this uncertainty, we were handed a $300 bill for "ignitor cleaning" — something done without our approval and taking less than a couple minutes.
In the months that followed, we knew there had to be a better way. That’s why we created Handyzee — a subscription handyman service built on transparency, integrity, and care. We’re here to ensure our neighbors receive honest, reliable upkeep without surprises. With Handyzee, your home is in good hands — always.
We are a fully licensed, bonded, & insured handyman company and also maintain necessary business licensing in the communities we serve.
